L\u2019am\u00e9lioration de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable demeure un enjeu central au Togo. Le gouvernement intensifie ses efforts pour \u00e9tendre la couverture en eau, notamment en milieu rural et p\u00e9riurbain. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des investissements cons\u00e9quents, le taux de desserte est pass\u00e9 de 47,6 % en 2014 \u00e0 69 % en 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2025, une enveloppe de 19 milliards de francs CFA sera consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la modernisation des infrastructures hydrauliques. Cela inclut la construction de 850 forages \u00e9quip\u00e9s de pompes \u00e0 motricit\u00e9 humaine et la mise en service de nouveaux ch\u00e2teaux d\u2019eau, notamment \u00e0 Ap\u00e9dokoe et Sagbado. Des mesures visent \u00e9galement \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le co\u00fbt des branchements domestiques, facilitant ainsi l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable pour tous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Projet de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 hydrique en milieu urbain, lanc\u00e9 en 2023, compl\u00e8te ces actions en renfor\u00e7ant la distribution dans les grandes villes.
