Ce programme ambitieux, lanc\u00e9 en octobre 2023, r\u00e9pond au besoin crucial d\u2019approvisionnement en eau dans les zones urbaines, en coh\u00e9rence avec la vision du pr\u00e9sident Faure Gnassingb\u00e9 d\u2019assurer un service universel de l\u2019eau. Actuellement, environ 70 % de la population togolaise b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie de ce service essentiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Financ\u00e9 \u00e0 hauteur de 100 millions de dollars par la Banque mondiale, soit 62 milliards de francs CFA, le Pash-Mut pr\u00e9voit une dur\u00e9e de mise en \u0153uvre de six ans. Il cible principalement les zones p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques du Grand Lom\u00e9 en mettant en place des syst\u00e8mes autonomes d\u2019approvisionnement en eau. Le projet vise aussi \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019assainissement, \u00e0 renforcer les institutions du secteur et \u00e0 optimiser la gestion des ressources en eau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme est structur\u00e9 autour de six composantes cl\u00e9s, allant de l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des services en eau et assainissement \u00e0 la gestion des urgences. \u00c0 terme, il devrait profiter \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 950 000 habitants, dont 200 000 seront raccord\u00e9s pour la premi\u00e8re fois au r\u00e9seau de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 togolaise des eaux (TDE). Une usine de traitement des boues de vidange est \u00e9galement pr\u00e9vue, avec des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices attendus pour environ 600 000 personnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon les autorit\u00e9s, les r\u00e9sultats d\u00e9j\u00e0 enregistr\u00e9s montrent une progression notable. Le taux d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable est pass\u00e9 de 60 % en 2020 \u00e0 67 % en 2022, soit plus d\u2019un million de personnes nouvellement desservies.
