L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement se tient \u00e0 l\u2019H\u00f4tel 2 F\u00e9vrier sur deux jours et a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement ouvert par le pr\u00e9sident du conseil du Togo, Faure Gnassingb\u00e9. La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie a r\u00e9uni plusieurs personnalit\u00e9s de marque, notamment Joseph Boakai, pr\u00e9sident du Lib\u00e9ria, et Olusegun Obasanjo, ancien pr\u00e9sident du Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plac\u00e9e sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab L\u2019Afrique face aux d\u00e9fis s\u00e9curitaires complexes : comment renforcer et rendre durable la paix et la stabilit\u00e9 dans un monde en mutation ? \u00bb, cette rencontre intervient dans un contexte international marqu\u00e9 par l\u2019instabilit\u00e9 politique et les tensions g\u00e9opolitiques. Les participants examineront les menaces \u00e9mergentes et proposeront des solutions concr\u00e8tes pour renforcer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 collective sur le continent africain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le forum rassemble des dirigeants politiques, des experts, des chercheurs et des acteurs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile venus de divers horizons. Ensemble, ils d\u00e9battent des strat\u00e9gies permettant de consolider la paix et de favoriser un d\u00e9veloppement durable fond\u00e9 sur la coop\u00e9ration r\u00e9gionale et le dialogue entre \u00c9tats africains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans un post sur Facebook, le pr\u00e9sident du conseil Faure Gnassingb\u00e9 a salu\u00e9 l\u2019esprit de fraternit\u00e9 et d\u2019ouverture qui anime cette initiative. Il a soulign\u00e9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019un leadership collectif et d\u2019une coop\u00e9ration renforc\u00e9e pour relever les d\u00e9fis communs du continent. \u00ab Le Togo, fid\u00e8le \u00e0 sa tradition diplomatique, continue d\u2019offrir \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 internationale un cadre d\u2019\u00e9changes constructifs au service de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de la coh\u00e9sion r\u00e9gionale \u00bb, a-t-il affirm\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition du forum, organis\u00e9e en 2023, avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 positionn\u00e9 Lom\u00e9 comme un espace de confiance et de dialogue sur les questions de paix.
