Cette nouvelle structure remplace la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 autonome de financement de l\u2019entretien routier (SAFER), mise en place en 2012 pour soutenir l\u2019entretien du r\u00e9seau routier national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Selon les autorit\u00e9s, le r\u00e9seau routier joue un r\u00f4le central dans le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et la coh\u00e9sion territoriale du pays. Toutefois, apr\u00e8s plus de dix ans d\u2019existence, la SAFER a montr\u00e9 certaines limites dans sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 mobiliser efficacement les ressources n\u00e9cessaires face \u00e0 la croissance des besoins en infrastructures routi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>La SONAFIR est ainsi dot\u00e9e de pr\u00e9rogatives \u00e9largies afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la mobilisation des financements, notamment \u00e0 travers la diversification des sources et le d\u00e9veloppement de partenariats strat\u00e9giques.
