Lanc\u00e9e en 2022 sous l\u2019impulsion de l\u2019ancien secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Nations unies, cette initiative vise notamment \u00e0 garantir l\u2019acc\u00e8s des populations vuln\u00e9rables \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019alerte efficaces avant la survenue d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement dangereux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Le d\u00e9marrage du dispositif au Togo intervient dans un contexte marqu\u00e9 par les fortes pr\u00e9cipitations enregistr\u00e9es dans plusieurs pays de la sous-r\u00e9gion en juin dernier. Pendant deux jours, les participants \u00e0 l\u2019atelier devront \u00e9laborer une feuille de route nationale pr\u00e9cisant les responsabilit\u00e9s, les \u00e9ch\u00e9ances et les indicateurs destin\u00e9s \u00e0 mesurer les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Selon Manuel Tahyo, coordonnateur Afrique du pilier 3 de l\u2019initiative, les nouvelles technologies, notamment la t\u00e9l\u00e9phonie mobile, joueront un r\u00f4le important dans la diffusion rapide des alertes. \u00ab L\u2019alerte se fait par un syst\u00e8me de diffusion cellulaire qui alarme les populations en cas de catastrophe imminente. On utilise \u00e9galement les autres canaux traditionnels pour communiquer \u00bb, a-t-il expliqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Le minist\u00e8re de la S\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de la Protection civile entend ainsi mettre en place une v\u00e9ritable cha\u00eene nationale allant de l\u2019identification des risques \u00e0 l\u2019intervention sur le terrain.
